ABOUT THE ROLE
As a Senior Psychologist, you will:
- Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of Psychologists and Service and Programs Officers (SAPOs) in delivering high-quality services to offenders
- Provide expert clinical advice on complex and high-risk cases, including disability and complex behavioural needs
- Deliver direct psychological interventions and manage complex case presentations
- Provide regular individual and group supervision to psychologists and interns
- Oversee the professional development and training of your team
- Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in OIMS and relevant systems
- Liaise with stakeholders to ensure coordinated psychological service delivery
- Provide advice, consultation and intervention statewide via AVL or in person delivery as required.
If applying as a Senior Specialist Psychologist, you will also:
- Manage the most complex cases and provide high-level consultation across the Centre
- Drive research and service improvement initiatives
- Contribute to clinical governance and innovation in psychological practice
