ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum four-year accredited qualification in Psychology
• Full registration with the Psychology Board of Australia (AHPRA)
• Eligible to supervise provisional psychologists and students as a Board Approved Supervisor
• Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel across NSW

ABOUT THE ROLE

As a Senior Psychologist, you will:

• Lead and supervise a multidisciplinary team of Psychologists and Service and Programs Officers (SAPOs) in delivering high-quality services to offenders
• Provide expert clinical advice on complex and high-risk cases, including disability and complex behavioural needs
• Deliver direct psychological interventions and manage complex case presentations
• Provide regular individual and group supervision to psychologists and interns
• Oversee the professional development and training of your team
• Maintain accurate, compliant documentation in OIMS and relevant systems
• Liaise with stakeholders to ensure coordinated psychological service delivery
• Provide advice, consultation and intervention statewide via AVL or in person delivery as required.

If applying as a Senior Specialist Psychologist, you will also:

• Manage the most complex cases and provide high-level consultation across the Centre
• Drive research and service improvement initiatives
• Contribute to clinical governance and innovation in psychological practice
