DOF is expanding the team. We are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Senior Purchaser to join the team in the Philippines. This is a permanent role and is required for an immediate start. About DOF DOF is a specialist subsea service business that provides subsea construction, subsea engineering, inspection, repair and maintenance and survey services, which involve complex and challenging engineering in an international environment. DOF owns a large fleet of modern subsea construction, intervention and survey vessels that enable it to offer differentiated positions with its clients and work in long term relationships, which enhance service delivery and reduce the overall risk. The company’s core business is project management, engineering, vessel operations, survey, remote intervention and diving operations, primarily for the Offshore Energy, Marine Telecommunications and Renewables markets. As a Senior Purchaser, you will manage and follow up on logistics activities for a group of vessels and/or the organization, including indirect purchases, to ensure timely and effective execution. The role includes approving expenditures in accordance with the Company Authorization Matrix and performing all assigned tasks and responsibilities. In addition, Senior Purchasers may approve urgent orders on behalf of the Vessel Superintendent in line with the approved mandate, provide mentorship to team members, and step in to support Supply Chain operations as required to ensure continuity. This role requires a team-oriented professional with strong problem-solving skills, a high level of accuracy, and keen attention to detail. Where required, you will also support day-to-day office administration activities at the Company’s Mandaluyong Office. Qualifications, Education & Experience (Preferred but not mandatory; relevant experience and training may compensate for formal qualifications) Education Bachelor’s degree or university degree in Business Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Technical studies, or another field relevant to the Marine Oil and Gas industry. Relevant professional experience may be considered in lieu of formal educational qualifications, subject to company policy. Experience Minimum of 3–5 years of procurement experience within the maritime or related industry. Proven experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain roles, preferably managing multiple vessels and/or complex operational organizations. Exposure to vendor coordination, purchase order processing, costing, quoting, and follow-up to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Participation in structured training programs may compensate for limited hands-on experience. Ability to provide onsite support during vessel dry-docking, modifications, or special projects. Knowledge, Skills, and Competencies Advanced proficiency in English, both written and spoken, with strong communication and coordination skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP platforms (e.g., TM Master, UBW/Unit4, Basware), with ShipServ experience preferred, as well as costing and quotation tools. Strong analytical, negotiation, and decision-making skills, with the ability to evaluate commercial and operational risks effectively. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced operational environment. Solid understanding of procurement procedures, authorization matrices, compliance requirements, and process improvement initiatives. Demonstrated capability to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency across the supply chain. Ability to work independently while also mentoring team members and stepping in to support Supply Chain operations when required.
