Your responsibilities

: - Development and design of scalable backend services with Python

- Development of REST APIs and integration of backend services into frontend applications

- Design and implementation of data processing pipelines for AI applications

- Transition of prototypes into production-ready enterprise software

- Improvement of software architecture, maintainability, and performance

- Implementation of authentication, authorization, logging, monitoring, and error handling

- Ensuring high code quality through testing, code reviews, and established software development best practices

- Creation of technical documentation and architectural guidelines

- Close collaboration with data scientists, frontend developers, product owners, and cloud engineers

Your profile

Key points:

- Understanding of your role and the impact of your activities within the overall process

- Fluent English skills

- After the onboarding phase and individual agreement, up to 100% mobile working is generally possible

- Experience in the field of AI and knowledge of Python

Further requirements:

- At least a completed vocational training

- At least 5 years of experience in Python backend development

- Experience in developing production-ready backend applications

- Experience in designing and developing scalable APIs

- Experience in cloud-native environments

- Experience in modernizing or industrializing existing software

- Experience collaborating in agile, interdisciplinary teams. Experience with AI applications is desirable, for example:

developing backend services for LLM applications; working with vector databases

; RAG architectures; LangChain or LlamaIndex

document processing pipelines; integrating AI models via APIs

FastAPI (preferred) or Flask
