You will be responsible for developing, testing, and maintaining Python applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Python programming, along with experience in software development methodologies. We are building out our Python development capability transition from a consultant led team to an in-house team, which will provide opportunities for influence and impact in shaping the team and products. We are building several products ranging from web applications to data processing with a view to add AI/ML in the near future. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain Python applications, following best practices and coding standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions. Demonstrate critical thinking and the ability to bring order to unstructured problems. Mentoring other team members Write clean, efficient, and reusable Python code. Conduct thorough testing to ensure application quality and reliability. Troubleshoot and debug applications to identify and resolve issues. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback. Stay updated with the latest Python technologies and industry trends. Minimum of 5 years of experience in Python development, ideally someone looking to take more responsibility. Strong proficiency in Python programming language and data structures. Extensive hands-on experience with Python Frameworks (Django, FastAPI, Flask or others) Experience with relational databases and good understanding of database design Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Excellent problem solving and debugging skills.
