Ciklum is looking for a Senior Python Engineer to join our team full-time in Poland. About the role: As a Senior Python Engineer, become a part of a cross-functional development team focused on the automation ecosystem. You will be working on high-impact automations, including proactive certificate expiry triggers, automated token rotation, and end-to-end phishing triage pipelines. Your goal is to eliminate manual overhead and build a self-healing infrastructure that proactively identifies and resolves operational risks. The Client is one of the world’s largest ferry operators, providing passenger and freight transportation across Northern Europe and parts of the Mediterranean - the company operates a large network of ferry routes connecting major ports and plays an important role in European logistics and tourism. Responsibilities: * Responsible for the building and maintaining mission-critical automation solutions that eliminate manual operational efforts at scale * Develop Python-based services that monitor certificate stores (internal, external, and Azure) and trigger proactive ServiceNow tickets * Develops and maintains automated frameworks for Access Token Generation and replacement to prevent connectivity failures across the application landscape * Responsible for the end-to-end technical orchestration of phishing email handling, automating the flow from Outlook reports to proper ServiceNow routing * Identify gaps and improve the platform’s robustness by building automated "License Harvesting" notifications for global software subscriptions Requirements: * 5+ years of experience coding in Python with an expert of API integration and solid CS fundamentals * 4+ years contributing to production deployments of automated workflows or backend system integrations * 2+ years of experience in cloud platforms, specifically Azure and its identity management systems * Knowledge of professional software engineering best practices for the full software development life cycle, including source control and testing * Knowledge of Data Quality testing to ensure automated triggers (like certificate expiries) are highly accurate * Experience participating in an Agile software development team * Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly, particularly regarding automated security response and token management * Undergraduate degree in Computer Science or Engineering required or equivalent degree  Desirable: * Experience in CI/CD configuration and automated deployment pipelines * Experience with ServiceNow API integration and workflow automation What`s in it for you? * Strong community: Work alongside top professionals in a friendly, open-door environment * Growth focus: Take on large-scale projects with a global impact and expand your expertise * Tailored learning: Boost your skills with internal events (meetups, conferences, workshops), Udemy access, language courses, and company-paid certifications * Endless opportunities: Explore diverse domains through internal mobility, finding the best fit to gain hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies * Flexibility: Enjoy flexibility – full remote working possibilities * Care: We’ve got you covered with company-paid medical insurance, mental health support, and financial & legal consultations About us: At Ciklum, we are always exploring innovations, empowering each other to achieve more, and engineering solutions that matter.
