Description

At Softeta, we are searching for a skilled Senior Python Engineer to join a small agile team of developers to take on a foundational role in our US based client future. The team will be responsible for a greenfield project to build a new payment processing platform from the ground up, moving away from existing systems to create a modern, scalable, and efficient solution. This is a unique opportunity to shape the technology that powers a company's core business, working collaboratively to design and implement a new, state-of-the-art platform that will support the company's growth and innovation for years to come. Key Responsibilities: Design, develop, and sustain a reliable payment solution built on Python. Collaborate with product managers and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver effective solutions. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code while adhering to best practices. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to standards. Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise. Technologies - Python, Django, AWS, TypeScript, React, PostgreSQL. 5+ years of experience in software development with a strong focus on Python. Proficiency with web frameworks such as Django or Flask. Familiarity with database systems, especially PostgreSQL, is preferred. Familiarity with any modern JavaScript framework and Typescript. Familiarity with public cloud services, with a preference for AWS. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Diverse and technically challenging projects. Training budget for professional and personal growth. Capability to oversee a team of Python engineers. Flexible working hours and a hybrid or remote workplace model. Flexible schedule and an Agile/SCRUM environment. Technical equipment that you can choose. Salary: For employees: 5500 EUR to 7000 EUR monthly (gross). For contractors: 38 EUR to 45 EUR per hour (plus VAT).
