Job Description
We are currently looking for a Senior QA Analyst who will be responsible for defining test approach, plan various tests (function test, integration test, UAT, etc.), log defects and follow up with developer team to get defect fixed, working with scrum master and product owner as well as development team to deliver business value on time and within budget. This opportunity is based fully onsite at our Mississauga, ON office location.

Job Responsibilities

  • Define test strategy, test approach, and test environment requirement
  • Design and prepare test data
  • Creates test plans, innovative test cases, release notes, test logs etc. based on requirements and test execution
  • Executes test cases and log/report defects, raise issues or concerns to the team
  • Write automated test scripts based on test-case specifications
  • Maintain QA documents up-to-date across Sprint
  • Collaborate with the team to define, design, and ship new features
  • Suggest ways and implement them to improve Agile testing practices

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related technical field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience with software or application QA testing or similar experience in a software development environment
  • Experience of Salesforce is a must
  • Possess strong knowledge of core concepts and principles of Agile Development and Delivery models. SCRUM, KANBAN.
  • Have previous QA experience (at least one complete project life cycle): end to end QA processes, documentation process, understand test methodologies, Unit Test Framework
  • Have a passion for software testing and can create innovative test cases
  • Ability to learn quickly and adapt rapidly to the latest technologies and best practices
  • Ability to work in a challenging, fast-paced environment
  • Team player with strong sense of responsibility
  • Result driven and a problem solver with a “can-do” attitude
  • Self-starter who enjoys taking initiative
  • Good written and verbal communication skills to describe the findings
  • Ability to discuss system issues
  • Familiarity with development and configuration tools (Git, Jira, Jenkins, etc.)

  • Ability to present complex information clearly and concisely to different levels of the organization (written and verbal – i.e. PowerPoint)
  • Analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Working experience with a leading Ecommerce and Integration platform(s) including but not limited to;
  • Project Collaboration Tools, such as JIRA, TRELLO, Slack
  • Testing Tools, such as Browserstack
  • Automatic Testing Suites, such as AccelQ
  • WordPress
  • Oracle Fusion Middleware
  • Integration Frameworks (SOAP, REST, JSON)
  • XML/XML Schema and experience with Data Modeling
  • SharePoint experience is an asset
  • Basic knowledge of CSS/HTML/Javascript
