On behalf of our Banking client, Procom is searching for a Functional Testing Quality Assurance Analyst - Senior for a 6-month role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

FUNCTIONAL TESTING QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST - SENIOR - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The project involves ensuring the quality of products delivered by technology teams, focusing on applications, common services/middleware, and infrastructure. The role includes designing and maintaining test plans, documenting results, and addressing any discovered defects to enhance the customer experience.

FUNCTIONAL TESTING QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST - SENIOR - MANDATORY SKILLS:

• Customer Connect application knowledge and experience
• 10+ years in IT or business environment with a relevant degree
• Knowledge of SDLC and testing methodologies
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Data analysis and metrics-driven improvement
• In-depth communication and collaboration skills
• Data-driven decision-making

FUNCTIONAL TESTING QUALITY ASSURANCE ANALYST - SENIOR – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Previous Financial industry experience

• Conduct independent analysis to resolve strategic issues
• Support strategic initiatives with stakeholders
• Monitor performance and address issues
• Lead test strategies and develop test automation suites
• Oversee multiple test projects and ensure system integration
• Design and maintain testing strategies for stability and efficiency
• Execute test cases and report defects
• Streamline processes to improve efficiency
• Communicate deliverable quality and drive metrics
• Participate in enterprise-wide programs/projects
• Enhance testing automation capabilities
• Mentor and share expertise to strengthen QA capabilities
