Responsibilities

As a member of our quality analyst team you will have a pivotal role within the software development and testing process, by upholding the quality and dependability of Tekmetric’s web and mobile applications, products and services by performing manual and automated testing. Collaborating closely with software developers, product managers, and other stakeholders, the Senior QA Analyst will strive to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products to our customers.

You will be responsible for:

  • Test Planning & Design:

    • Create and maintain detailed test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on requirements and design documents.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to understand project requirements and functional specifications.
  • Contribute to the development of testing strategies aligned with project goals.
  • Determine the appropriate testing methodologies for specific projects.
  • Manual & API Test Execution


    • Execute manual tests to identify defects, usability issues, and inconsistencies in software functionality.

    • Executing & performing API Testing
    • Perform regression testing to ensure that new features and bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
    • Automation Testing


      • Design, develop, and maintain test automation frameworks.

      • Implement automated test scripts for functional and regression testing
      • Integrate testing into CI/CD pipelines.
      • Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment testing.
      • Quality Assurance Assurance Processes


        • Identify areas for process improvement within the QA team.

        • Implement and advocate for best practices in testing processes.
        • Documentation:


          • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of test cases, test execution results, and defect reports.

          • Contribute to the development of user documentation and training materials.
          • Collaboration & Communication:


            • Work closely with cross-functional teams to understand project requirements and provide feedback on design and functionality.

            • Clearly communicate testing status, progress, and any obstacles to the team.
