Keeper Security is hiring a highly motivated and experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our KCM team and focus on building robust, secure, and scalable test automation solutions for our enterprise-grade applications. This is a 100% remote position, with an opportunity to work a hybrid schedule for candidates based in the El Dorado Hills, CA or Chicago, IL metro area.

ABOUT THE JOB

Keeper is seeking a Senior QA Automation Engineer to support our Privileged Endpoint Device Management (KCM) product. This role is ideal for an experienced QA engineer who thrives in cloud-native environments and has deep expertise in Playwright (TypeScript) and Pytest (Python). You’ll be responsible for building and scaling automation pipelines to ensure the quality, security, and performance of KCM’s web and API applications, with a focus on secure access, browser isolation, and containerized testing.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 4+ years of experience in QA Automation Engineering
  • Strong hands-on experience with Playwright (TypeScript) and Pytest (Python)
  • Proficiency with AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling, especially GitHub Actions
  • Familiarity with secure authentication (SSO, OAuth, SAML)
  • Experience working with VNC, SSH, and RDP in testing environments
  • Solid understanding of browser automation and access control testing
  • Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in testing privileged access or security products
  • Background in performance or load testing
  • Contributions to open-source QA tools or frameworks
  • Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code or cloud testing frameworks
Responsibilities
  • Design, build, and maintain test automation frameworks using Playwright and Pytest
  • Develop automated tests for web and API services hosted in AWS
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions (or similar tools)
  • Manage containerized test environments using Docker and Kubernetes
  • Implement and validate secure login workflows using SSO (OAuth, SAML) and identity providers
  • Execute remote testing using VNC, SSH, and RDP across various access protocols
  • Perform cross-browser and cross-platform validation using Playwright
  • Monitor and report test results using tools such as AWS CloudWatch and S3
  • Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure high-quality software delivery
