Senior/QA Engineer – Pharma / Digital Health Domain Experience Range Overall experience: 4+ years (QA Functional) Healthcare Domain experience: 2+ years (pharma, life sciences, or digital health - Must have) Web/API/Mobile app testing: 3+ years Job Location – Ahmedabad, Gujarat (WFO) Who you’ll be working with We build the solutions envisioned by the product and design teams. Our goal is to deliver working software every two weeks. We are a large team that spans across three global offices, but we collaborate and integrate front- and back-end components and interfaces to provide a user-centered experience through web and mobile platforms. About the Role We are building a QA team to support digital healthcare and pharmacy platforms. These systems touch sensitive areas like prescription management, transparent drug pricing, telehealth consultations, and regulatory compliance.As a QA Engineer, you’ll be responsible for validating the system end-to-end, making sure prescription workflows, pricing calculations, patient data handling, and compliance requirements work reliably in real-world scenarios What you’ll be doing Analysis of requirements, writing and executing test cases to detect usability and performance issues. Conducting test design, execution, and exploratory testing. Bring a strategy-based approach to testing. Creating detailed reports and listing improvements. Participating in test planning meetings and providing feedback to the testing team, reviewing requirements specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback. Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities, and work closely with product and development teams to produce high-quality software. Domain-Specific Testing: Focus on testing critical pharma and digital health workflows, including: Patient-Facing Platforms: Verifying user account creation, prescription management, and the checkout process on our e-commerce drug platform. Prescription & Fulfillment: Ensuring the accurate and secure intake of prescriptions, their routing to pharmacy partners, and order tracking systems. Third-Party Integrations: Validating data and functionality with partners like telehealth providers and third-party pharmacies. Compliance: Ensuring platforms and processes adhere to industry standards and regulations like HIPAA. What you’ll need to be successful (Requirements) Minimum 4 years of experience in web, mobile, and API testing. At least 2+ years in pharma, life sciences, or digital health systems Proven ability to test end-to-end workflows across patient, provider, and admin roles. Experience with software testing methods, such as functional testing, end-to-end testing, and sanity/regression testing. Expertise in writing test documentation, requirements review, and creating bug reports. Ability to describe bugs clearly and accurately. Basic experience in SQL and scripting. Strong knowledge of Test Methodologies, SDLC (Agile, Scrum), STLC, and Bug Life Cycle. Experience with management tools. Jira, X-Ray, Zephyr. Strong organizational skills and ability to handle priorities. Experience handling a small team is a plus Excellent communication skills. Nice-to-have Exposure to automation basics (Playwright, Cypress, Postman for API testing). Experience with HIPAA and other healthcare-related compliance standards is highly beneficial.
