OVERVIEW

Data Eaver is seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Engineer to join a dynamic team delivering digital services for a major enterprise client. The successful candidate will lead quality assurance efforts on large-scale Agile projects and play a pivotal role in testing strategy, automation, execution, and team leadership. This is a senior-level position requiring deep experience across the QA lifecycle including manual, automated, performance, and data validation testing.

MUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in automation test scripting
  • 2+ years as a Senior QA on the same Agile project
  • 8+ years of experience writing test cases and executing manual functional tests
  • 5+ years of experience with API testing and integrating QA with CI/CD pipelines
  • 8+ years of experience in database testing, including data conversion testing
  • 8+ years of experience in load, performance, security, and end-to-end testing
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, Cucumber, and JavaScript-based frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Mocha, Jasmine, Karma, Puppeteer, Nightwatch.js)
  • 8+ years of experience as a Senior QA on large-scale Agile projects

NICE-TO-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 5+ years of experience modernizing legacy systems through multiple releases
  • 2+ years of experience with Dual-Track Development processes
  • 5+ years of experience using Git platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, DevOps)
  • 3+ years of experience leading QA teams with 3 or more team members
  • 3+ years of experience coordinating UAT in complex, multi-stakeholder environments
  • 4+ years of experience as a QA architect applying data analytics tools and methodologies

Responsibilities
  • Design, create, and maintain automated test scripts
  • Plan, write, and execute manual test cases and functional test scripts
  • Lead QA activities on Agile teams through multiple project phases
  • Perform API testing and integrate QA processes into CI/CD pipelines
  • Execute data-centric testing including complex data conversion validations
  • Conduct load, performance, security, and end-to-end testing
  • Use tools like Selenium, Cucumber, and JavaScript-based frameworks (e.g., Cypress, Playwright, Jest, Mocha)
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to incrementally modernize legacy systems
  • Work within a Dual-Track Development framework to align discovery and delivery efforts
  • Participate in and lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for high-impact releases
  • Provide QA leadership, mentoring, and oversight for teams of 3 or more testers
  • Leverage Git platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket, Azure DevOps) for test versioning and integration
  • Apply data analytics techniques to derive insights and improve testing coverage and quality
