SolidTech Software is an innovative tech startup specializing in mobile-first social media solutions. Our flagship product, Sociera (https://sociera.com), is a mobile-only social media app integrating social media logins, Google Maps, and Mapbox APIs. Built with Flutter (Provider, MVVM) and a .NET microservices backend, our platform is hosted on Azure Cloud and follows Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles.

JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking an experienced QA Engineer to ensure the quality and reliability of Sociera. The role involves testing mobile and backend applications, implementing automation strategies, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance user experience and system performance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of experience in software testing, preferably in mobile applications.
  • Proficiency in automated testing frameworks (Appium, Selenium, Flutter Driver).
  • Experience with Cucumber (BDD) and API testing (Postman, Newman).
  • Knowledge of test automation scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Dart).
  • Experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
  • Familiarity with Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud-based testing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting.
  • Nice to have: Experience with performance/security testing (JMeter, LoadRunner).

Responsibilities
  • Design, develop, and execute test plans, cases, and automation scripts for mobile (Flutter) and backend (.NET) applications.
  • Perform manual and automated testing, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Implement and maintain automated test frameworks using tools such as Appium, Selenium, and Flutter Driver.
  • Conduct API testing with Postman and automation tools.
  • Utilize Cucumber for behavior-driven development (BDD) testing.
  • Work with Azure DevOps for test management, bug tracking, and CI/CD integration.
  • Ensure compatibility across mobile devices and OS versions.
  • Identify and track defects, ensuring timely resolution.
  • Conduct performance and security testing as required.
