The client’s presents each year an iconic end-of-year celebration, offering millions of listeners a personalized look back at their year in audio. We are looking for a self-driven, highly technical Senior QA Lead Engineer to spearhead the QA strategy for this campaign experience.
This is a high-impact role with a focus on cross-functional leadership, quality advocacy, and operational excellence. You will lead the end-to-end QA process, from strategy definition through delivery, across multiple R&D and localization workstreams.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead QA Strategy: Define and execute a holistic QA strategy for the end of year campaign, ensuring all aspects of the product are covered functionally and technically.
  • Own Test Planning: Craft detailed test plans and cases that account for a wide range of scenarios — across devices, operating systems, locales, and user flows.
  • Drive Testing Autonomy: Lead clarity and direction for internal testers. Develop scalable test processes with minimal oversight and maximum quality assurance.
  • Release Management: Own internal release milestones and coordinate rollout activities, reporting, and stakeholder updates.
  • Internal Testing & Feedback Loop: Organize and lead structured test sessions, and manage the bug triage and prioritization process. Champion a feedback-driven approach with product and engineering stakeholders.
  • Localization QA Leadership: Collaborate with the Localization team and their vendor to support international testing and bug resolution.
  • Tools & Automation: Optimize rollout tools and pipelines; automate QA processes where possible to enhance speed and reliability.
  • Quality Visibility: Implement dashboards or visualization tools to communicate test coverage and release health across teams.

Who You Are

  • Proven QA Leader: 5+ years leading QA or release management initiatives, ideally at scale in a product-centric environment.
  • Tech-Savvy & Tool Fluent: Experience with CI/CD systems, version control, and test automation.
  • Strong Release Ops: Familiar with internal release processes and capable of orchestrating efficient, high-quality rollouts.
  • Bug Bounty Champion: Skilled in bug management using tools like Jira and comfortable triaging and prioritizing in collaboration with R&D.
  • Localization Fluent: Experience in coordinating with LQA vendors and navigating international QA processes.
  • Metrics & Monitoring: Experience working with crash/exception tools (e.g., Sentry, Backtrace) and writing SQL queries (e.g., BigQuery) is a plus.
  • Autonomous & Organized: You work independently, proactively identify gaps, and prioritize work without needing handholding.
  • Cross-Functional Partner: Excellent communication skills and ability to work seamlessly across product, engineering, design, and localization.
