About the job

An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Quality Manager to lead the development, implementation and continuous improvement of an ISO 9001-certified Quality Management System within a precision engineering and manufacturing environment. Reporting to senior leadership, you will drive quality performance, supplier assurance, regulatory compliance and continuous improvement while ensuring products consistently meet customer, industry and business standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesLead and continuously improve the ISO 9001:2015 Quality Management System, ensuring ongoing compliance through internal, external and customer audits.
Manage all aspects of quality across manufacturing, inspection, testing, supplier quality and customer complaints, implementing robust root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Lead, develop and support the Quality team while collaborating with Engineering, Operations, Purchasing and other departments to drive quality performance.
Manage supplier quality activities, including supplier audits, performance management, new supplier approvals and technical conformance reviews.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean methodologies, PFMEA, MSA, Pareto analysis and data-driven investigations while supporting the development of an integrated management system.
Requirements:Proven experienced as a Quality Manager within Engineering or Manufacturing.
Strong QMS & Auditing experience to ISO 9001
Willingness to travel occasionally when needed to suppliers and customers, across the UK and Internationally.
Ability to interpret Engineering drawings.

Location: RochdalePermanent Full Time, 37.5 hours per week, Mon – FriSalary: £ Competitive (dependent on experience)Benefits: 11% combined pension, life assurance, private medical, bonus & more.
