REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:

  • 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Software QA Specialist, particularly in testing web applications, manual and functional testing for digital products.
  • Proven experience creating and maintaining test cases, test plans, and using tools like TestRail, Xray, or TestMonitor.
  • Proven track record in accessibility testing for web and mobile applications.
  • Hands-on experience with WAVE, BrowserStack, and other accessibility tools.
  • Strong knowledge of ADA compliance and WCAG accessibility standards.
  • Experience with cross-browser and cross-platform testing, using tools like BrowserStack, LambdaTest, Responsively App or physical devices.
  • Familiarity with performance testing tools like Lighthouse or Google PageSpeed Insights.
  • Knowledge of API testing tools (Postman, Insomnia, Newman)
  • Strong knowledge of Scrum and Kanban methodologies for software development.
  • Proficiency in using tools such as Jira, ClickUp, Mantis, Confluence, or similar for task management and defect tracking.
  • Experience performing smoke testing, integration testing, acceptance testing, exploratory testing, and regression testing.
  • Test case execution, bug reporting, bug tracking and follow-up.
  • Familiarity with automating testing processes is a plus.
  • Windows/MacOS: In-depth knowledge of operating systems such as Windows or MacOS.
Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE:

We are seeking a Senior QA Specialist with strong expertise in manual and functional testing, test planning, and test case design. This role requires proven experience in accessibility testing for web and mobile applications using tools such as WAVE, BrowserStack, and other industry-standard solutions. You will ensure digital experiences are inclusive, high-performing, and aligned with quality standards across platforms and devices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES & DUTIES:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, cases, and scripts for web and mobile applications.
  • Test Execution: Write, maintain, and execute test cases/scripts, performing both functional and non-functional testing.
  • Create, manage, and track defect tickets, ensuring issues are resolved in a timely manner.
  • Create traceability matrix documents based upon project requirements.
  • Create checklist documentation based upon project requirements.
  • Perform manual and functional testing to ensure product quality and compliance with requirements.
  • Conduct accessibility testing using WAVE, BrowserStack, and other accessibility evaluation tools.
  • Validate compliance with ADA standards and WCAG guidelines for inclusive user experiences.
  • Collaborate closely with development and design teams to identify, document, and resolve defects.
  • Provide clear documentation of test results, defect reports, and recommendations.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies and maintain active communication with cross-functional teams.
  • Suggest improvements to QA processes and testing strategies.
  • Work effectively in Agile environments, participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
