The opportunity Reporting into the Program Director the Senior Quality Advisor provides quality leadership and assurance across construction programs and projects. You will ensure consistent delivery of quality outcomes in alignment with The Downer Standard (TDS), Delivery Governance Management (DGM), contractual obligations, and relevant statutory and industry requirements. The role delivers proactive governance, audits, inspections, and continuous improvement initiatives across the full construction lifecycle, working closely with project teams, clients, and subcontractors. Regular travel across construction sites is a core component of the role. This full-time permanent role and will be based out of our client’s office in Mango Hill. What you’ll do Provide Quality leadership across construction phases including design verification, procurement, construction, testing, commissioning, and handover. Develop, review, and maintain Quality Management Plans, ITP Registers, checklists, and assurance documentation. Review ITPs and provide feedback to project teams Ensure project teams understand and comply with ISO 9001 and Downer Quality Management System requirements. Drive continuous improvement initiatives based on audit outcomes, NCR trends, and construction performance data. Facilitate lessons learned, root cause analysis, and corrective / preventive action processes. Contribute to standardisation and uplift of construction Quality practices across the program. Assist completion process with compilation of MDR and Handover Documents etc. to ensure project are successfully closed out. Minimum 5 years’ experience within the Construction industry, Water Industry, Resources / Mining or Heavy Industry beneficial Exposure and experience with project planning, execution and delivery, Continuous improvement, Driving Quality outcomes Sound experience with client and stakeholder engagement Strong technical, process and operations skills and knowledge.
