David creates tools to increase muscle and decrease fat. Our first product is a protein bar. More broadly, David is a platform to develop high-protein, low-calorie, blood-sugar-friendly foods that are craveable.

REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Science, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in food safety, regulatory compliance, or supplier qualification in the food, beverage, or supplement industry.
  • Familiarity with food safety and regulatory frameworks (FDA, USDA, CFIA, FSMA, HACCP, SQF, Prop 65).
  • PCQI / HACCP certification.
  • (Preferred) Experience working with documentation and regulatory tracking systems.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail; able to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • High ownership & attention to detail – you take initiative, follow through, and execute with precision.
  • Intellectual curiosity – you’re eager to learn, solve problems, and improve systems.
  • Low ego, high drive – humble, self-aware, and motivated by the mission.

Responsibilities

We’re looking for an experienced, detail-oriented, systems-minded Senior Quality Analyst to support David’s Quality team. The Quality Analyst will be responsible for supporting the company’s quality management system, driving continuous improvement initiatives, and ensuring compliance with food safety and regulatory standards. This role will also lead or participate in cross-functional projects, manage technical documentation, and collaborate with R&D and commercialization teams to ensure smooth transitions from product development through production.
