REQUIRED SKILLS:

  • Candidate must be bilingual (French and English)Must have a 2 - 5 years Quality Assurance Environment experience
  • Minimum of 3 years of technical engine maintenance or repair shop experience.
  • Experience working in aerospace
  • Recognized academic Quality Assurance training or equivalent
  • In this function the candidate must be open minded to address Culture Change, listening and share best practices within the Safety Culture mind
  • Abilities to support shop floor employees and other support group with QA and regulatory related issues
  • Knowledge of performing investigation in a Quality Assurance environment.

LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS IN QUEBEC :

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement program quality plans, programs, and procedures using statistical quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and six-sigma tools and analyses
  • Ensures that performance and quality products conform to established company and regulatory standards
  • Reviews, analyze and reports on quality discrepancies related to assembly, process, mechanical, electrical and electro-mechanical systems
  • Investigates problems and develops disposition and corrective actions for recurring discrepancies
  • Interfaces with manufacturing, engineering, customer, vendor, repair center and subcontractor representatives to ensure requirements are met
  • Recommends corrective actions, dispositions and modifications.
