SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST LEAD:

On behalf of our Retail client, Procom is searching for a Senior Quality Assurance Test Lead for a 9 month contract role. This position is a hybrid position with 2 days onsite at our client’s Toronto office.

SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST LEAD - JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Senior Quality Assurance Test Lead will oversee a team of testing professionals to ensure the delivery of comprehensive test services and solutions. The role involves engaging with stakeholders to deliver all phases of testing and contributing to the continuous improvement of testing processes and frameworks.

SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST LEAD - MANDATORY SKILLS:

  • Minimum 10 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Lead/Manager in an SAP environment
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in SAP project environments with 5+ project implementations delivered
  • Expert knowledge of Business Processes in Supply Chain, Finance, Merchandising, Marketing, Retail, WMS
  • Highly developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong analytical and technical investigation skills
  • Expert level experience in Test Management Tools
  • Experience in project management

SENIOR QUALITY ASSURANCE TEST LEAD – NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

  • Experience with Jira
  • Experience in coaching
  • Experience in test integration
  • Knowledge of best practices in quality assurance
  • Promotes an environment conducive to creativity
Responsibilities
  • Lead a team in providing a broad range of test services and solutions
  • Engage with stakeholders to deliver all phases of testing
  • Provide input to and review Project Test Strategy, Test Plan, and Entry/Exit criteria
  • Manage, create, and deliver testing plans aligned with the SDLC
  • Ensure appropriate application of test processes, methodologies, and tools
  • Lead planning, preparation, and execution of effective test efforts for all phases of FSM testing
  • Act as the primary liaison for testing resources and user acceptance test support
  • Manage and support the QA team in creating reusable test assets
  • Monitor, assess, and mitigate testing risks and track progress
  • Manage the defect process and ensure timely issue resolution
