We are a manufacturer and distributor of road marking materials. We believe saving lives is a serious business; our commitment to this endeavour is reflected in the quality and performance of our products, people and processes.
As part of the Quality control department, you will perform all responsibilities as required to ensure that all testing is completed, and products are released on time. You will support the Operations Technical Support Manager ensuring that daily work is prioritised and lead time KPI’s are met for the team and execute external factory production control audits to maintain certifications.
Responsibilities
- Prepare finished products for testing and test to the appropriate works instructions and agreed quality plans
- To maintain full and accurate records of test results for raw materials and finished products
- Utilize laboratory information management systems to record and analyze data
- Prioritise workload for the team
- Assist in preparation and execution of external audits
- Review QC works instructions (SOPs) on a regular basis
Qualifications
- A-Level in Chemistry or equivalent
- Proven experience working in a laboratory environment
- Experience of quality systems
- Data management using ERP systems
- Proficient in using laboratory equipment and instruments
- General good laboratory practice
