Description HELIOS is seeking a highly experienced Senior Quality Control Specialist to join our team in supporting the Naval Surface Warfare Center Philadelphia Division (NSWCPD). This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to critical research and development, testing, evaluation, engineering, and fleet support activities for the Navy’s ships, submarines, military watercraft, and unmanned vehicles. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing complex projects within NSWCPD Code 60, which is responsible for the Compatibility Test Facility, ensuring the delivery of innovative solutions that support national defense. Key Responsibilities: - Develop, implement, and maintain quality control procedures and standards for testing and evaluation activities. - Oversee and conduct inspections, audits, and reviews to ensure compliance with contractual, regulatory, and quality standards. - Collaborate with engineering and technical teams to identify quality issues and implement corrective actions. - Manage documentation related to quality assurance processes, test reports, and compliance records. - Support project managers in planning and executing quality control activities for complex projects. - Provide training and guidance to team members on quality standards and best practices. - Participate in design reviews and testing phases to ensure quality requirements are met. - Monitor and analyze quality metrics to identify areas for continuous improvement. This is position is contingent on contract award. Veterans receive hiring preference. Requirements The following are the minimum requirements for this position: Possess a current, active SECRET Clearance Experience working with and handling U-NNPI Information. Must be a U.S. Citizen High school Diploma, related military experience, trade/industrial school graduate or GED equivalent. Five (5) years of experience with Quality Assurance/Control, specifically the drafting and implementation of QA plans and documentation. Working knowledge of the Naval Sea System Command, Naval Surface Warfare Center and Fleet organizations is desired. Experience may be gained concurrently.
