PAY: $25-30/HOUR BASED ON EXPERIENCE

We are seeking a Senior Quality Control Technician to join our team. This role plays a key part in ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality, safety, and performance across marine, safety, rescue, and industrial applications. The position involves performing inspections, analyzing nonconforming products, and supporting continuous improvement efforts within the Quality team.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Inspecting and checking parts using a variety of precision measuring instruments or fixed samples.
  • Assisting with root cause analysis and documenting nonconforming product.
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, including GD&T.
  • Performing repetitive inspections following standardized methods and procedures.
  • Supporting department functions such as meeting planning, document preparation, and coordination of activities.
  • Collecting and compiling data to prepare standard reports that support decision-making.

What We’re Looking For

  • Proficiency with precision measuring instruments, including experience with CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines).
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Strong math skills (whole numbers, fractions, decimals).
  • Excellent problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and the capacity to prioritize multiple assignments under deadlines.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.

Even Better If You Have

  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics AX.
  • SolidWorks or SolidWorks Inspection experience.
  • Background in sailing, rigging, or rope handling.
