Job Description This role is a 9 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC) based at our Porcari, Lucca site. Purpose of the Job: The Senior Quality Engineer is a key member of the Quality Department, facilitating growth and ensuring robust quality controls and activities across the Rotork Lucca site. Key Responsibilities and Outcomes: QMS Maintenance: Developing, updating, and enforcing Standard Operating Procedures and policies. Auditing & Compliance: Conducting internal audits to ensure compliance with industry standards (e.g., ISO 9001, ISO TS) and regulations. Corrective Actions (CAPA): Identifying, analyzing, and investigating system deficiencies to implement corrective and preventive actions. Documentation Control: Managing quality documentation, records, and material certifications. ATEX, PED, IECEX, Directive 2006/42/EC o 2006/42/CE expert Main Activities: Main interface of system Certificate Inspector Draft, update and improve the Quality Manual. Manage products certification (ATEX, PED, IECEX, etc. etc) Manage and drive audits for product certification Implement corrective actions in case of non-conformity after inspector audits Work with engineer departments (in site and in other Rotork sites) Owner of certifications renewal Qualifications Qualifications & Technical knowledge Essential: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent working experience. 5 years of experience in quality system Experience with Oil&gas certification (PED, ATEX) English language fluent Previous experience gained within an engineering/manufacturing business preferably working to ISO9001 standard. Desirable: Internal Auditor against ISO9001:2015 standard.
