Description
Develop, communicate or train, and ensure adherence to quality standards, product specifications, work instructions and procedures across a multifunctional manufacturing organization. Lead cross-functional teams in deploying continuous improvement initiatives, corrective actions, and root cause analysis using tools such as A3, 8D, 5-Why, and Fishbone diagrams. Evaluate, communicate and disposition in-process rejections, implement containment, corrective, and preventative actions to ensure product performance and specification compliance. Establish and maintain Statistical Process Control (SPC) systems, including analysis, monitoring, and reporting to optimize reliability and inspection efficiency. Drive end-to-end quality by supporting supplier quality initiatives, customer quality management, and external reporting activities as needed. Other duties as assigned. Bachelor's degree in engineering from an accredited institution Minimum of one (1) year minimum experience in an engineering function SAP experience Bachelor's degree in quality engineering, electrical engineering, or mechatronics engineering. Experience in quality engineering within a manufacturing environment, preferably with electrical or electronic products. Knowledge of quality management systems and experience in procedure development. Strong technical writing skills for electrical and mechanical documentation. Experience in technical project and program management preferred. Experience in supplier quality management preferred. Ability to work in a matrix environment, get results and drive change through others. Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously. Ability to read and understand forms, blueprints & schematics, including bills of material, ECN's, tolerances and special notation. Ability to read electrical drawings, one line diagrams, power flow diagrams, mechanical blueprints and other electrical and mechanical drawings Ability to sit, stand, walk regularly and occasionally lift 0-15 pounds Ability to support both Richmond sites
