Description

ATC has an opening for a full-time Senior Quality Assurance Engineer based in the ATC Chelmsford, MA facility. As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at ATC, the candidate will be responsible for overseeing and supporting the manufacture, test and shipment of high reliability electronic, electromechanical and mechanical assemblies. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with high reliability space and aerospace electronics in a dynamic team environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Review and approve drawings, manufacturing processes, fixturing, tooling and other assembly documentation
  • Collaborate with engineers, production and quality control inspectors to resolve quality-related issues
  • Participate in failure and non-conformance investigations working towards Root Cause and Corrective Actions
  • Review manufacturing documentation for completeness and accuracy prior to delivery of product
  • Supervise and approve test setups, review and approve test documentation

Requirements:

  • Minimum of fifteen (15) years of experience and Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience
  • Prior experience with J-STD-001, IPC-610, and/or NASA 8739 and/or related inspection criteria.
  • Prior experience with ISO9001 and AS9100 auditing procedures
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and as a team player
  • US citizenship is required
