We are currently recruiting for a Senior Quality Engineer. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you will be accountable for supporting new product development and product maintenance through the application of Quality engineering skills for electronic devices. This person will handle projects and tasks, from product inception through product launch and maintenance, and play an active role in the processes to ensure products meet quality standards consistent with both HME and the telecommunication industry while meeting all design requirements.

What you will do in this position:

  • Apply advanced quality methods, process controls, and best practices ensuring compliance with applicable standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements relating to the product throughout the product life cycle.
  • Participate and provides quality-specific input, direction, and guidance to the product line or product teams during team meetings and team reviews, etc.
  • Lead product/product line root cause failure investigations working in concert with internal and external departments in support of ISO9001 corrective/preventive action process.
  • Participate as product line Quality Engineering MRB representative in support of corrective/preventive action process.
  • Provide Quality input relating to the testing of critical components (e.g. cables, connectors, switches) ensuring compliance with applicable specifications, standards, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide Quality input and support during prototype/pilot runs to ensure compliance with applicable specifications and standards.
  • Leverage product and process knowledge driving continuous improvements in product and process quality.
  • Develop, institute, and monitor manufacturing, repair or other pertinent process metrics to objectively measure and track quality trends throughout the product life cycle.
  • Prepare, publish, and present (as required) product quality (trend/failure/reliability) process metrics and related trend analyses pertaining to the assigned product line(s).
  • Support the ISO 9001 internal audit program as an internal audit team lead or internal audit team member for all assigned audits as defined by QMSR and/or the Internal Audit Program Administrator.
  • Support special projects as required by QA Management.
