Join our GTS and Payments team within WIB Technology, playing a critical role in keeping Australia’s domestic payments moving safely and reliably. This is a full‑time, Sydney‑based role. As a Senior Quality Engineer, you’ll be hands‑on in embedding quality into large‑scale domestic payments platforms that support OSKO, PayID, and PayTo—systems that sit at the core of the nation’s payments infrastructure, where quality truly matters. Additionally, you’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy automation‑first thinking, working with complex vendor‑supplied systems, and exploring smarter testing approaches such as contract testing and AI‑assisted quality engineering. Partnering closely with engineers, product owners, and delivery partners, you’ll influence quality from design through to release. You’ll spend your time building and maintaining automated test solutions across APIs, integrations, and end‑to‑end payment flows, reducing reliance on manual testing and enabling teams to release with confidence. You’ll also contribute to the ongoing evolution of Quality Engineering practices across the Domestic Payments program. What do I need? * Extensive Quality Engineering / Software Testing experience, ideally in payments, banking, or regulated environments * Strong automation expertise with a focus on API, integration, and end‑to‑end testing * Experience testing vendor or packaged systems with limited or no source‑code access * Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines and modern QE tooling * Strong data validation and SQL capability * Solid technical stack including Java (Spring Boot), Oracle, IBM MQ, Kafka, and automation tools such as Selenium, Playwright, K6, Postman/Newman, plus Python / Perl / Bash (Linux) * Passion for automation‑first, engineering‑led quality, with interest or experience in contract testing, real‑time payments, and AI‑assisted testing Why join us?
