POSITION OVERVIEW:

An exciting opportunity has opened up for an experienced Senior Quality Engineer to join a busy manufacturing and engineering team. This is a key role for someone with a sharp eye for detail and a proactive mindset, with the goal of maintaining high quality standards, supporting compliance, and driving continuous improvement across all areas of the business.

• Leading and completing 8D investigations, ensuring effective corrective actions are implemented
• Acting as the main point of contact for escalated quality issues
• Supporting continuous improvement activity – including Gemba walks and proactive quality engagement
• Maintaining and updating the Business Management System
• Applying quality tools such as 8D, PFMEA, PPAP, and APQP
• Conducting internal and supplier audits in line with AS9100 and ISO9001
• Supporting both customer and third-party audits
• Assisting departments with quality-focused projects and queries
• Reviewing engineering drawings and customer specs for contract reviews
• Ensuring compliance with all procedures, policies, and customer standards
