Senior Quality Manager Company: The Boeing Company Position Overview: Boeing Fabrication (FAB) is seeking a Senior Quality Manager to join the FAB Quality organization, leading the Interiors Responsibility Center (IRC) in Ladson, South Carolina. In this leadership role you will set the vision for quality, drive improvements, and ensure alignment with regulatory, customer, and Boeing quality standards across the Interiors responsibility Center (IRC). You’ll coach and inspire frontline managers and technical teams, lead cross-functional problem solving for complex quality issues, and champion data-driven initiatives that improve reliability, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, deep technical knowledge of aerospace processes, and a passion for operational excellence, as they play a pivotal role in safeguarding Boeing’s reputation for world-class aircraft. Position Responsibilities: Manages employees and first-level managers that ensure products, services and processes comply with customer contract requirements, engineering requirements, company procedures, and government regulations. Develops and executes business plans, policies and procedures and develops organizational and technical strategies to improve performance. Provides education and coaching on the Quality System. Acquires and manages resources and leads process improvements. Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports. Manages, develops and motivates employees and first-level managers. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 5+ years' experience in developing and maintaining relationships and partnerships with senior executives, customers, stakeholders, peers, and business partners 5+ years' experience in a leadership role, leading teams or projects to successful completion 5+ years' experience with Quality or Operations or leading managers/teams in Operations and/or Quality position 5+ years' experience with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint Must be able to work any shift based on the needs of the operation Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): 3+ years’ experience with Quality Management Systems and/or the One Boeing Production System (One BPS) 3+ years of experience with team building, developing and motivating employees. 1+ years of experience using structured problem-solving methods (BPSM, DMAIC, 6-Sigma) Drug Free Workplace: Boeing is a Drug Free Workplace where post offer applicants and employees are subject to testing for marijuana, cocaine, opioids, amphetamines, PCP, and alcohol when criteria is met as outlined in our policies.
