We’re seeking someone to join our team as a Senior Quantitative Modelling Specialist in Financial Planning In the Finance division, we act as a partner to business units around the globe by providing management, review, analysis and advisory services of the Firm’s financial and capital resources. This is a position within our Financial Planning & Analysis Job Family which is responsible for the firm’s budget, forecast, internal management reporting and financial analysis to provide insight into the firm’s current and expected financial performance, as well as expense allocation. What you’ll do in the role: Developing forecasting models, methodologies based on statistical and econometric methods In particular, enhancing existing and creating new models to predict the balance sheet and the net revenue of the company, based on various (e.g. market and macroeconomic) variables Testing, automating, presenting and documenting the model enhancements Coordinating across teams during the model development process Monitoring the performance of existing models on a quarterly basis What you’ll bring to the role: Master's degree in Economics, Math / Statistics or related field Strong knowledge of statistical modelling and econometrics Proficiency in a (statistical) programming language (R or Python preferred) and Databases (SQL) Strong analytical and problem solving skills Ability to manage processes from end-to-end to ensure successful and timely delivery of requirements Effective time management and ability to meet tight deadlines and handle pressure situations Strong organization skills, with attention to detail Strong interpersonal skills; effective written and oral communication abilities Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word Confident command of English Familiarity with revenue forecasting, macroeconomic planning or stress testing is an advantage (good to have) #BPACC #LI-hybrid #LI-JL1 WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT FROM MORGAN STANLEY: We are committed to maintaining the first-class service and high standard of excellence that have defined Morgan Stanley for over 89 years.
