As a Senior Quantity Surveyor, you’ll play a central role in supporting the project delivery team of an Australian construction business. From subcontract administration and project documentation to financial tracking and reporting, you’ll help ensure projects stay organized, compliant, and financially controlled from start to finish. You’ll collaborate closely with project managers and internal stakeholders, helping transform complex construction workflows into structured, well-managed project operations. If you enjoy keeping projects financially disciplined while ensuring documentation and coordination run smoothly, this role offers the perfect balance of technical expertise and project collaboration. Key Responsibilities: Coordinate subcontractor documentation and compliance requirements. Maintain project registers and ensure accuracy of project data across systems. Implement and manage project startup checklists. Assist with budget monitoring and project financial reporting. Support tender cost analysis and scope development. Administer subcontract agreements, RFIs, variation orders, and work orders. Maintain drawing transmittal and project documentation registers. Assist with project close-out documentation and warranty records. Prepare and track monthly project reports. Provide administrative and operational support to the project delivery team. Communicate and resolve project documentation or process issues with internal stakeholders. Requirements Required Qualifications (Must-Have): 5+ years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor, Contract Administrator, or Project Scheduler. Experience supporting Australian construction companies or projects. Strong understanding of construction terminology and project workflows. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for financial tracking and reporting. Experience managing RFIs, subcontract documentation, and project registers. Experience with job costing, forecasting, and project financial reporting. Tertiary qualification in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field. Preferred Qualifications: Experience working within structured quality frameworks such as ISO9001. Experience supporting project close-out processes and warranty documentation.
