POSITION OVERVIEW:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with 5–6 years of proven experience in the interior fit‑out industry. The role involves managing project costs from initial estimation through to final account, ensuring profitability, quality, and compliance with contractual obligations. The successful candidate will have strong commercial acumen, negotiation skills, and the ability to work closely with clients, contractors, and the internal project team.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related discipline.
  • 5–6 years’ experience in quantity surveying, specifically within the interior fit‑out industry (commercial, retail, hospitality, or high-end residential).
  • Strong knowledge of fit‑out construction methodologies, materials, and market rates.
  • Familiarity with standard forms of contract (FIDIC, JCT, or equivalent).
  • Proficiency in cost management software and MS Office applications.
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.

  • Strong commercial awareness and cost management expertise.
  • Detail-oriented with high accuracy in financial reporting.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare detailed cost estimates, BOQs, and tender documentation for interior fit‑out projects.
  • Manage and monitor budgets, cost control, and financial forecasting throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and variations in line with project requirements.
  • Conduct site visits to assess progress, validate claims, and ensure cost efficiency.
  • Prepare and present monthly cost reports and cash flow forecasts to management.
  • Collaborate with project managers, designers, and procurement teams to achieve project goals.
  • Manage contract administration, claims, and dispute resolution when required.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.
  • Ensure compliance with contractual terms, industry regulations, and company policies.
