JOB SUMMARY:

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor with a strong background in civil engineering and building construction. The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in quantity surveying for building projects and hold a degree in civil engineering or a relevant discipline. Fluency in Arabic is mandatory. The role involves managing all aspects of cost planning, estimation, contract administration, and financial control throughout the project lifecycle.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field (e.g., Quantity Surveying).
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying within building construction.
  • Fluent in Arabic (spoken and written) – mandatory.
  • Strong knowledge of construction contracts (e.g., FIDIC), cost control, and procurement.
  • Proficiency in QS software (e.g., CostX, Candy, Excel).
  • Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and lead junior QS staff.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Professional certification (e.g., MRICS, AIQS, or equivalent).
  • Experience in high-rise, commercial, or residential building projects.
  • Familiarity with local construction laws and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of project lifecycle and financial reporting.
