With a reputation for design-led, sustainable projects and an ambitious pipeline, we are expanding our commercial team with a talented Experienced Quantity Surveyor to support the next phase of growth.

REQUIREMENTS

• Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a QS role, ideally within a developer or main contractor
• Proven track record managing budgets for residential and/or mixed-use developments
• Excellent knowledge of construction contracts (JCT, D&B etc.)
• Strong negotiation, analytical, and communication skills
• Degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
• MRICS or working towards (preferred)
• Ability to work independently, while contributing to a close-knit team

• Lead cost planning, budgeting, and forecasting for multiple developments
• Prepare and manage bills of quantities, tender documentation, and procurement strategies
• Evaluate subcontractor tenders and negotiate contracts
• Manage and report on project cash flow, cost variations, and risk assessments
• Conduct valuations, agree interim and final accounts with clients and subcontractors
• Work closely with project managers, site teams, and external consultants to ensure project objectives are met
• Provide mentorship to junior QS staff where applicable
