Job Title: Senior Quantity Surveyor
Location: London, UK
Salary: £60,000 – £75,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently looking for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a confident and capable QS who is ready to take the next step in their career. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on exciting and diverse projects, managing costs and contracts from inception through to completion.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 5 years of relevant UK consultancy experience
  • Proven experience working with JCT contracts
  • Strong portfolio across sectors including residential, commercial, education, healthcare, heritage, mixed-use, and industrial
  • RICS-accredited degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field
  • MRICS-qualified, or actively pursuing APC with assessment expected in 2025
  • Strong commercial acumen and excellent attention to detail
  • Confident communicator with excellent written and verbal skills
  • Proficiency with industry-standard tools and Microsoft Office
Responsibilities
  • Deliver full pre- and post-contract quantity surveying services
  • Prepare cost plans, tender documents, valuations, and final accounts
  • Manage and administer JCT contracts across multiple project types
  • Provide strategic cost advice and value engineering input to clients
  • Liaise effectively with clients, contractors, consultants, and other stakeholders
  • Lead or support project delivery, depending on scope and complexity
  • Mentor junior team members and support knowledge sharing
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship management
