Job Description Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our infrastructure team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our organization, you will play a crucial role in managing costs and contracts for large-scale infrastructure project across the region. Prepare detailed cost estimates and budgets for infrastructure projects Develop and implement cost control systems to monitor project expenditures Analyze and report on project costs, including forecasting and variance analysis Manage the procurement process, including tender documentation and evaluation Negotiate and administer contracts with contractors and suppliers Prepare and analyze bill of quantities for infrastructure projects Conduct value engineering studies to optimize project costs Resolve contractual disputes and claims Provide expert advice on construction costs and contractual matters to project teams Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success Stay updated on local construction regulations and industry best practices. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or related field Professional certification from a recognized institution (e.g., RICS, AACE) Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying for infrastructure projects Proven track record in managing large-scale infrastructure projects Proficiency in quantity surveying software (e.g., CostX, Causeway) Strong mathematical and analytical skills Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite In-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes Experience in cost estimation, cost control, and contract administration Familiarity with local and international construction standards and regulations Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multicultural environment Willingness to travel within the UAE and potentially to other countries in the region Additional Information About AECOM AECOM is proud to offer comprehensive benefits to meet the diverse needs of our employees.
