Ross Engineering, a leader in specialist steel fabrication, is seeking a Commercial Lead / Senior QS to lead tendering, estimating, and commercial management for high-value, mission-critical projects. This senior role offers scope to shape strategy, win major contracts, and build a high-performing commercial team.

Estimating – Prepare accurate cost estimates from drawings/specs, analyse supplier quotes, conduct risk assessments, and maintain cost databases.
Commercial Management – Oversee budgets, contracts, variations, and cost reporting; monitor performance and mitigate risks.
Tendering & Procurement – Lead submissions, manage subcontractor/supplier procurement, ensure compliance with policies.
Client Liaison – Act as main contact, advise on cost planning, procurement, and value engineering; secure repeat business.
Team Leadership – Build, mentor, and develop a high-performing team; foster collaboration.
Specialist Expertise – Knowledge of steel fabrication costs, tolerances, installation sequencing; experience in mission-critical and specialist works.
