Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our team in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. As a key member of our site-based construction management team, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of cost management and quantity surveying for large-scale projects in the region. Prepare and analyze bills of quantities, cost estimates, and tender documents for construction projects Conduct on-site measurements and valuations to track project progress and costs Manage contract administration, including change orders, variations, and claims Negotiate with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure cost-effective solutions Provide expert advice on contractual and commercial matters to project stakeholders Prepare regular cost reports and forecasts for senior management Implement and maintain cost control systems to monitor project expenditures Collaborate with project managers and other team members to optimize project delivery Ensure compliance with local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE Identify and mitigate potential cost risks throughout the project lifecycle Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related field Professional certification from a recognized quantity surveying body (e.g., RICS, AACE) Minimum 10 years of experience in quantity surveying, with a focus on site-based roles with minimum 3 years in Supervision Consultancy and an overall experience of 15 years. Proven track record in managing large-scale construction projects Proficiency in quantity surveying software such as CostX and Buildsoft Strong mathematical and analytical skills with attention to detail Excellent communication and negotiation skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite In-depth knowledge of construction contracts and procurement processes Familiarity with construction industry standards and practices Understanding of local building codes and regulations in Dubai and the UAE Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Strong organizational and time management skills Willingness to work on-site and travel as required Additional Information
