JOB DESCRIPTION:

VX Studio Consultancy is looking for a highly skilled Senior Quantity Surveyor with a solid consultancy background and proven experience in high-rise building projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the cost and commercial functions of projects from inception to completion.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Quantity Surveyor, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
• Strong experience in high-rise building projects is mandatory.
• Previous work experience in a consultancy firm is highly preferred.
• Thorough understanding of cost management, contracts, and procurement strategies.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, or related field.
• Membership of a recognized professional body (e.g., RICS, CIOB) is an advantage.

• Prepare and review BOQs, cost estimates, and tender documents.
• Evaluate and certify contractor payments and variations.
• Track project costs and budgets to ensure alignment with financial targets.
• Conduct regular site visits to assess progress and validate claims.
• Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
• Prepare final accounts and ensure timely project closure.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients to provide cost-related support.
• Ensure all documentation and commercial processes comply with contract and legal requirements.
