YOUR PROFILE

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Solid knowledge in building software solutions with Python and other programming languages
  • Experience in Agile software development, including proficiency with Git, testing, and CI/CD processes.
  • Background in quantum computing, including hybrid classical-quantum workflows. Ability to develop specific solutions on different quantum hardware platforms.
  • Knowledge of optimization theory and classical solvers
  • Experience in delivering cloud-based software services
  • Integration Expertise: Strong understanding of architectural approaches for defining and leveraging APIs to seamlessly integrate solutions into clients’ workflows
  • Agile Experience: Proven experience developing solutions in agile teams in fast-paced environment
  • Client-Facing Skills:
  • Ability to assume the clients’ perspective and extract clear requirements.
  • Proactive exploration of deeper needs and opportunities for innovation, potentially finding solutions beyond the client’s original vision.
  • Aligning expectations regarding maturity of solutions and business impact, manage stakeholders.
  • Ability to manage critical client situations effectively.

Responsibilities:

YOUR ROLE

We seek a dynamic professional to drive customer engagement and MVP (minimum viable products) development at Kipu Quantum. You’ll identify high-impact use cases, bridge business needs with quantum computing solutions, and support technical development. This fast-paced role involves refining MVPs based on client feedback, managing multiple projects, and collaborating with sales to transition MVPs into recurring services. Strong adaptability, mentorship skills, and top performance are essential.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

MVP Development & Delivery:

  • Design and implement MVPs, ensuring delivery within a short time frame (weeks, not months). Following best practices of software development and ensuring software quality standards
  • Engage with early adopter clients to showcase potential use cases, gather feedback, and prioritize which use cases to develop.
  • Refine MVPs based on continuous client feedback, ensuring rapid iterations and delivering high-impact, user-focused solutions.
  • Work with clients to understand their data requirements and determine necessary data processing for each solution.
  • Collaborate with other teams at Kipu to deliver MVPs as a service through the company’s platform - or integrated into clients’ workflow.

Business Value Assessment:

  • Engaging with customers to identify use cases with high business impact and direct customer interest to guide the priorization of MVP development
  • Pitch the MVP to customer together with the sales department
  • Collect information about customer interest and feedback from the sales and client engagement department
  • Balance technical and business considerations to ensure MVPs are both feasible and commercially viable.

Problem Mapping & Research:

  • Develop mappings of problems and conduct research to determine how to divide problem-solving tasks between classical and quantum computing.
  • Create hybrid workflows integrating both quantum and classical computing to optimize problem-solving strategies
  • Ensure that all problem mappings are technically feasible and aligned with business goals.
