Description
Your responsibilities will include: Work is expected to result in the development of new or refined products, processes, or equipment. Designing and preparing complex reports to communicate results to the technical community. Designing and coordinating complex engineering tests and experiments. Working cooperatively with process development, quality, manufacturing, regulatory, clinical, and marketing teams on complex projects to ensure project success. Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Biomedical Engineering Minimum of 5 years' experience with a B.S. degree, minimum of 3 years' experience with an M.S. degree, or minimum of 1 year of experience with a Ph.D. Experience in designing complex medical devices with commercialization experience through phase-gate processes Strong leadership traits including independent thinking, the ability to guide team members, self-motivation, strong communication skills, and comfort with calculated risk-taking Demonstrated mechanical design expertise, preferably with single-use vascular devices and catheter development Ability to navigate ambiguity, think creatively, and collaborate within global teams Experience mentoring junior engineers or technicians Strong statistical analysis skills, with proficiency in tools such as Minitab Working knowledge of DMAIC methodology
