Description

Unijobs on behalf of our public sector client have a requirement for a Senior Radiographer in the Roscommon area to join their team to deliver a quality patient focused radiography service. The duration of this post is 6 months initially with likely extensions thereafter.
Working 35 hours per week, the successful candidate will be employed as an agency employee and will be paid an annualised salary of between €57,000 - €66,000 DOE. The successful candidate must be available to participate in the on call rota.

QUALIFICATIONS AND/OR EXPERIENCE

Statutory Registration, Professional Qualifications, Experience, etc.

  • Be registered, or be eligible for registration, on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU. (https://www.coru.ie/)
  • Have 3 years fulltime post qualification clinical experience.
  • Have the requisite knowledge and ability (including a high standard of suitability and professional ability) for the proper discharge of the duties of the office.
  • Provide proof of Statutory Registration on the Radiography Division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU before a contract of employment can be issued.

Annual Registration

  • On appointment practitioners must maintain annual registration on the relevant division of the Radiographers Register maintained by the Radiographers Registration Board at CORU.
  • Practitioners must confirm annual registration with CORUby way of the annual Patient Safety Assurance Certificate (PSAC).

POST SPECIFIC REQUIREMENTS

  • Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience in General Radiography as relevant to the role
  • Demonstrate depth and breadth of experience of working with multidisciplinary teams at clinic and administrative level
