This role is within a team responsible for the planning, execution and optimisation of outbound real-time marketing communications. The successful candidate will:

  • Possess a genuine passion for sports with varied in-depth knowledge, particularly in horse racing and football. Utilising this enthusiasm to deliver reactive, content rich messages to customers in real-time.
  • Be responsible for managing customer segmentation, message conception and delivery via instant messaging systems; along with an involvement in the team’s overall strategy.
  • Be strategic in maximising campaign performance through constant testing, measurement, refinement and optimisation.
  • Have the opportunity to demonstrate a creative flair, analytical prowess and overall passion for success in a highly ambitious and results driven team.
  • Be able to work midweek evenings and every second weekend

Responsibilities

  • Identify key sporting events suited for real-time marketing, define data driven customer segments and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns.
  • Assist with events planning to identify key opportunities.
  • Develop an awareness of evolving trends in the sports betting industry and remain on top of competitor analysis.
  • Liaise with other teams within the business and share knowledge to increase brand cohesion.
  • Contribute to and execute testing plans.
  • Work with service providers to implement and develop new offerings and technologies.
  • Ensure regular reporting and ongoing analysis of campaigns; subsequently provide recommendations regarding segmentation, market selection and content.
  • Ensure all campaigns adhere to compliance procedures and agreed sign-offs.
