Cygnet Clinic Midland – Senior Receptionist & Receptionists
Applicable Industrial Award: Health Professionals and Support Services Award 2024 [MA000027]
Position Level: 2/3
Hours of Work: Up to 38 hrs per week (negotiable). All training provided onsite with very flexible arrangements for set shifts.
Employment Status: Casual (with options later for permanency)

Essentials for the Job

  • Mature, diligent and client centred approach to work
  • Apt at learning IT based tasks and multitasking
  • Needs to be someone reliable and wanting this job for the longer term (permanent Part Time and Full Time can be offered after initial 6 month period).

We would love someone local in Midland or close by who can fill in at short notice.
Cygnet is not currently looking for students wanting transient employment while they study or those with VISA restrictions, rather we are keen to have someone join the Cygnet family and focus on helping us help others. There are no restriction on age (18+) but we highly value life experience in this role and emotional maturity is central to the role. Note one of the positions is for Senior Receptionist and will as a result start on Level 3 and increase from that point to higher pay (see HSOA Support Workers award for levels above 3)
Descriptions of Responsibilities by HSOA Grade
Entry Level 2 HSOA Support Services

An employee at this level:

  • is capable of prioritising work within established routines, methods and procedures
  • is responsible for work performed with a limited level of accountability or discretion
  • works under limited supervision, either individually or in a team
  • possesses sound communication skills
  • requires specific on-the-job training and/or relevant skills training or experience.

Level 3 HSOA Support Services

An employee, other than an administrative/clerical employee at this level:

  • is capable of prioritising work within established routines, methods and procedures
  • is responsible for work performed with a medium level of accountability or discretion
  • works under limited supervision, either individually or in a team
  • possesses sound communication and/or arithmetic skills
  • requires specific on-the-job training and/or relevant skills training or experience.

An administrative/clerical employee at this level undertakes a range of basic clerical functions within established routines, methods and procedures.
Pay Weekdays: $33.56 per hour Saturdays: $46.99 per hour
