POSITION OVERVIEW

We are currently seeking a highly organized and experienced Senior Dental Receptionist to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental office administration and a demonstrated ability to deliver exceptional customer service in a fast-paced clinical environment.

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in a dental administration or dental reception role (required)
  • Completion of a Dental Administration Certificate or Program (preferred)
  • Proficiency in dental practice management software (e.g., Tracker or similar systems)
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
  • High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing a high standard of patient care and service
Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients with professionalism and courtesy, ensuring a welcoming front-office experience
  • Manage daily appointment scheduling and calendar coordination for dental practitioners
  • Process patient check-ins/check-outs, insurance claims, billing, and payments accurately
  • Maintain and update patient records using dental practice management software
  • Ensure smooth coordination between the front office and clinical team to optimize workflow and patient care
  • Respond promptly and effectively to patient inquiries in person, by phone, and via email
  • Uphold confidentiality and security of patient information in compliance with privacy regulations
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required to support the overall efficiency of the practice
