About the role The Assessment Division at NESA manages the moderation of school assessment marks, ensuring they are fair and comparable across all schools in NSW. This role sits within the Assessment Services directorate which is responsible for developing and implementing assessment strategies and programs across the NSW Education System to ensure students meet curriculum standards. It creates quality assessment tasks, marking guidelines, provides feedback to students, and reporting on student achievement to stakeholders like parents. The Senior Records Coordinator (VET) is responsible for operational aspects of VET data, reporting and credentialling related to VET delivered to secondary students. On a day-to-day basis you will be responsible for: Reviewing and interpreting federal and state legislation and policy related to VET. Developing and implementing business processes to ensure NESA meets VET regulatory requirements and responds proactively to changes to ensure compliance. Building and maintaining internal and external stakeholder relationships through effective communication and issues management to engage stakeholders and ensure responsibilities are achieved. Regularly collaborating with the school sectors and RTOs to inform NESA business practices. Coordinating enhancements of systems and procedures, particularly with regards to the VET components of NESA web portals (VCS Online, RTOs Online, Schools Online and Students Online). Our ideal candidate will have: Proven experience managing complex relationship between different stakeholders Extensive experience with dealing and negotiating ICT constraints and expectations of deliverables. Experience undertaking tasks where there are a diverse variety of views, opinions and priorities with competing expectations and interests. Knowledge and experience developing, implementing and documenting VET business processes.
