QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

· Desirable: Previous experience in recruitment or a similar sales environment.
· Desirable: Experience recruiting for warehouse and driving roles.
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
· Proactive, results-oriented mindset with a focus on achieving targets.
· Familiarity with job boards and recruitment software is a plus.

Responsibilities

THE ROLE

As a Recruiter, you’ll be hands-on — connecting great candidates with the right roles and supporting clients with their hiring needs. It’s fast-moving, people-focused, and gives you the chance to make a real impact every day.
Our Andover branch is picking up speed and we’re looking for someone who can help build on that momentum. You’ll start with structured development, gain your REC qualifications, and follow a clear path toward promotion and leadership within Aligra.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Client Engagement: Build and nurture relationships with new and existing clients, both over the phone and face to face, understanding their hiring needs, and creating attractive adverts.
· Candidate Discovery: Identify and attract potential candidates through various channels, screening thorough interviews and assessments.
· Recruitment Process: Manage the end-to-end temporary and permanent recruitment processes, from advertising to placing candidates in suitable roles. Ensuring compliance throughout.
· Targets and Reporting: Meet and exceed individual and team targets, maintain accurate records in our recruitment software.
· Staff training and progression: Working closely with other members of the team sharing your experience and knowledge and upskilling them in the process.
· Business development: Identifying new business to approach and confidently bringing on new clients through face to face interactions, cold calling and other social media platforms.
· Branch manager pathway: Working closely with the Branch manager on your own progression to begin your own pathway into becoming a branch manager.
· Leading the branch: Becoming the face of the branch in all aspects of day to day operations with clients, candidates and Aligra staff.
Compliance first: Have an excellent understanding of compliance to ensure all aspects of compliance are at 100% and ensuring the team follows this structure.
In house expert: Become the lead on all inhouse platforms to ensure new team members can be skilled on this and all systems are being used correctly.
