The Senior Recruiter has demonstrated experience supporting federal contracting environments. The Senior Recruiter leads targeted efforts to identify, attract, and recruit exceptionally qualified healthcare professionals, and other positions in support of our Healthcare Staffing service line. This position plays a critical role in advancing our clients’ mission objectives, ensuring compliance with federal contracting requirements, and enhancing operational readiness through timely and effective staffing. Requirements Essential Duties and Responsibilities. · Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for positions supporting federal contracts, including recruiting, interviewing, and facilitating the hiring of qualified job applicants; collaborate with operations to confirm mission requirements and competency needs for each federal contract opening. · Develop and maintain sourcing strategies tailored to federal contracting needs, including cleared and credentialed candidate pipelines; provide recommendations to leadership on talent acquisition approaches that strengthen federal readiness. · Correspond with applicants regarding their status for employment consideration. · Build and maintain strong relationships with candidates, guiding them through the recruitment process and ensuring a positive candidate experience. · Prepare and extend job offers, negotiate terms, and manage the onboarding and credentialing process for new hires. · Utilize various recruitment channels such as job boards, social media, professional networks, and employee referrals to identify potential candidates. · Participate in job fairs, conferences, and other networking events to support recruiting initiatives. · Administer and evaluate skill assessments and reference checks as needed. · Handle employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to appropriate staff. · Conduct or coordinate background checks, employment eligibility verifications, and security-preparedness screenings in accordance with federal contracting standards. · Review, track, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments. This will include safety training, anti-harassment training, professional licensure, and aptitude exams and certifications. · Maintain current knowledge and ensure strict compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including requirements applicable to federal contracting. Stay informed on regulatory changes, best practices, and federal acquisition workforce trends affecting talent acquisition. · Support workforce planning and proposal development efforts by providing recruiting data, labor insights, and federal talent acquisition strategies. · Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience: · 10 years of professional recruitment experience, preferably in the healthcare industry · 2 years of professional recruitment experience on federal contracts Preferred Experience and Qualifications: · Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: · Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, negotiation, time management and organizational skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and proven ability to meet deadlines. · Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the public. · Strong understanding of external resources; job boards/databases, mining the web, social media, email marketing and cold calling. · Displays integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality, with excellent interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. · Thorough knowledge and understanding of employment-related laws and regulations. · Proficiency with HRIS/talent management systems, Microsoft Office Suite or related software. Work Environment: · Remote work environment (based in Kansas City metro) with ability to travel to Overland Park office on occasion, to job fairs, client meetings, and industry events.
