MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • 4+ years of recruiting experience in both technical and non-technical environments
  • Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university
  • Well-versed in Boolean search string manipulation and accustomed to outside-the-box-thinking to find candidates
  • Experience supporting and collaborating with hiring managers, ensuring they get top talent
  • Well-versed in managing applicant tracking systems with actions including (but not limited to) dispositioning candidates, contacting candidates, and opening/closing requisitions
  • Local (or willing to move) to our Clarksburg, Maryland headquarters on a hybrid work schedule
  • US Person/Lawful Permanent Residence

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience using Rippling Applicant Tracking System
  • Experience using data-driven analysis to drive change
  • Experience or interest in recruiter technology including but not limited to automation, tooling, or AI
  • Technical background in software or hardware engineering
    US Salary Range
    $90,000—$140,000

The salary range for this role is an estimate and is based on a wide variety of compensation factors. The salary offered to candidates will vary based on a variety of factors including (but not limited to) relevant work experience, education, specialized training, critical expertise, training, and more. Equity in Forterra is included in most of our full-time, high-demand roles and is therefore considered part of Forterra’s overall compensation package. In addition to base salary and equity, Forterra offers competitive benefits for full-time employees including:

  • Premium Healthcare Benefits: Three plan options, including an HSA-eligible plan, with Forterra covering 80% of the plan premium for you and your dependents.
  • Basic Life/AD&D, short and long-term disability insurance plans 100% covered by Forterra, plus the option to purchase additional life insurance for you and your dependents.

  • Competitive paid time off (PTO) offering 20 days accrued per year.

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for someone who excels in a dynamic working environment and wants to add value to our team and organization. You will both support and act as the primary point of contact for a variety of roles including technical and non-technical.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own and manage the full-cycle recruiting process, from sourcing to closing candidates
  • Partner with hiring managers to deeply understand technical hiring needs and develop tailored strategies
  • Identify and engage top-tier talent through direct outreach, networking, and creative sourcing techniques
  • Quickly learn and understand complex technical concepts in robotics, autonomy, AI, and ML to assess candidate qualifications effectively
  • Manage a seamless and high-touch candidate experience
  • Maintain a high-level of attention to detail in tracking candidates and recruitment metrics
  • Work effectively with a wide range of personalities, from engineers to executives
  • Travel occasionally for career fairs, conferences, and on-site hiring events.
